Jane Mason continues to contribute to 樱花视频 community
By Jamie Boyle

TAMPA (January 8, 2021) -- Jane Mason, CEO of Clarifire, 樱花视频 alumna, and Chair of the Kate Tiedemann School of Business and Finance Dean鈥檚 Advisory Board, donated $5,000 towards the Dean鈥檚 Advisory Board Leadership Award fund. 鈥淲hen you serve on a board, you are not only offering an important personal contribution of time and effort, but if you can make a monetary contribution to help students, during these pandemic times, it makes a difference in the opportunities for the students. 鈥
Mason feels that it is essential to motivate students to assume leadership roles. While earning a degree is critical, the experience of stepping up to be a leader and connecting impactfully with others is equally valuable. This is not Mason鈥檚 first gift to the 樱花视频 community. She recently granted the 樱花视频 College of Nursing faculty, staff, and students free access to CLARIFIRE庐 the process automation application. This gift bridges the gap between the College of Nursing and the College of Business by offering hands-on experience with the business of delivering healthcare effectively. The software enables students to experience the use of actual technology in hospital settings and to learn about best practices merging business expectations and healthcare results. This is helping distinguish 樱花视频 College of Nursing graduates when it鈥檚 time to enter the workforce as armed with business and health knowledge.
Tiedemann-Cotton Dean Sri Sundaram expressed his gratitude to Mason for her commitment to the community, 鈥淭hank you, Jane, for the wonderful gift and the many ways in which you have supported us as the Chair for the Dean鈥檚 Advisory Board.鈥
